To the partner I have not met…
Here is a little throwback photo of me as a hard-charging patrol cop. As a crayon-eating jar-head, I was not able to memorize all of our radio codes or criminal codes, case laws, etc. So, I started organizing cheat-sheets from the agency….then the state…then the country. In the process, I met more LEO experts and trainers across the US, and made a lot of friends in the process. That sparked the TacBook which has been an ever-progressing tool to help our brothers and sisters in blue to take point out there…professionally and personally.

Opiate vs opioid? Sure, I know the difference! Umm…er…
As an LEO, you have to stay sharp in many fields, including CS - Controlled Substances. The TacBook has a great section on Drugs, to help you in the field and to speak intelligently on the subject. Sometimes we cops confuse the term “opiate” and “opioid”.
In case it has been a while since you reviewed these terms, here is a little refresher!
I am asking for your expert opinon!
